The Trinbago Knight Riders leaped to the top of the CPL standings, after their second consecutive win on home soil.
On Saturday night they defeated Jamaica Tallawahs convincingly, after chasing 155 runs with 2.4 overs to spare and only 3 wickets down.
Jamaica, batting first, scored 154/8 with Imad Wasim scoring 62 while Ali Khan took 3/27 and Sunil Narine took 2/29.
TKR’s batting was superb as Martin Guptill made 53 not out, while Nicholas Pooran smashed 54 and Andre Russel 20 not out.
Narine was given the man of the match award, for his bowling and early knock of 15 runs off 6 balls.
On Sunday, TKR plays the third-placed St. Lucia Kings at the Brian Lara Stadium in Tarouba.
