The Ripple Effect: Miss World T&T 2024 launches Beauty With A Purpose Project

The Ripple Effect.

That’s the name of the Beauty With A Purpose Project launched by Miss World Trinidad and Tobago 2024, Anna-Lise Nanton.

At the launch event held on Wednesday, Ms Nanton explained that sport is an integral part of who she is, as it taught her confidence, resilience, how to care for her health and wellbeing, and how to overcome failure.

A key feature of her initiative is a swimming programme for children.

She believes swimming is a life-saving skill and The Ripple Effect will aim to teach this to children across the country, including care homes.

The project will also seek to bring sustainability through sport, while also harnessing its power for social empowerment, well-being, community building and environmental stewardship.

Another exciting aspect is a collaboration with WizdomCRM to merge sport sustainability with Artificial Intelligence and Human Intelligence to educate children across the nation.

Ms Nanton said, “Imagine a personal AI tutor, designed with my knowledge but with a thousand times the capacity, able to guide students 24/7 anywhere in the country, or even in the world.”

She says the AI will be available in different languages, and will teach children to make eco-friendly choices and educate them on health and wellness.

She added, “From one ripple comes a wave. From many waves… a sea of change!”
