150 incidents were reported to TEMA in Tobago, following the weather associated with Hurricane Beryl’s passage yesterday.
Recovery efforts are ongoing on the island, and a team is assessing the extent of the damage will prioritize restoration efforts. Affected Tobagonians are being asked to call the agency via its emergency numbers, and to provide photos of the damage
98 percent of the power outages reported in Tobago have, up to Tuesday afternoon, been restored and all outages in Trinidad back to normal.
The Minister of Public Utilities told the Senate on Tuesday, that full power is expected by 6PM for both islands.

Meanwhile, TEMA is embarking on an aggressive drive to inform residents about responding effectively during natural disasters and emergencies.
In the next three months, officials are boosting community awareness and preparedness through info presentations on how to act before, during and after such events.
