A 17-year-old was among three suspects arrested in connection with a violent robbery in Sangre Grande.

Yesterday, the employees at a restaurant were accosted by two men, one armed with a gun.

During the incident, two employees were beaten, with the assailants escaping with a quantity of cash.

The suspected getaway vehicle was intercepted in Arima by Emergency Response Patrol officers, who held its three occupants.

They are between the ages 17 and 23, and are from Tunapuna and Marabella.
