TCL says it remains committed to its socio-economic responsibilities and providing high quality cement.

The company says it is also mindful of its role in the construction sector and providing a reliable supply of high quality cement to support the country’s growth.

This response follows Trade Minister Paula Gopee-Scoon’s dissatisfaction about the recently implemented 7% increase for bagged cement.

The Minister said the Government does not support the increase and will continue work to re-open the market to other cement suppliers.
