Incumbent Tabaquite MP Anita Haynes-Alleyne has expressed confidence as she gets ready to go before the UNC’s screening committee this evening.

Speaking with 103.1FM News, she said it was important to respect the screening process and show that democracy is at work within the party.

This evening, the UNC will screen candidates for La Brea, Point Fortin and Tabaquite.

OWTU President Ancel Roget will present 2 labour candidates for the La Brea and Pt. Fortin seats.
