The Tabaquite MP is welcoming the announcement of the date for the UNC’s Internal Elections.

Mrs Anita Haynes-Alleyne believes the successful execution of the election will put the party on a stronger footing to contest the upcoming general election.

On Saturday, the UNC revealed that its internal polls will be held on June 15th, 2024.

There had been calls for the date of polls to be announced, including from Mayaro MP Rushton Paray who says building a stronger UNC is critical to building a stronger country.
