Swords stolen from Chaguaramas Military Museum

Three swords valued over $10,000 were stolen from the Chaguaramas Military Museum on April 16th.

103.1FM News spoke with the Museum’s PRO Kathy Ann Edwards, who said the thieves gained access around 2:30PM, via the property’s back entrance.

About 20 minutes later, the items were found to be missing.

The swords are: a Japanese Katana World War 1 Vintage valued at $6,600, a Japanese Wakizashi Short Sword valued at $3,600 and a Replica with red between the handle.

Anyone with information on the theft can contact the Carenage Police Station.
