Former manager of England’s national football team, Sven-Goran Eriksson, has died at the age of 76.
In January Eriksson said he had “at best” a year to live after being diagnosed with cancer.
He was the first non-British manager of the England team and led them to the quarterfinals at three major tournaments during his five-year spell in charge between 2001 and 2006.
This included the 2006 World Cup in which T&T faced off against England in the group stage.
Eriksson also had spells in charge of Mexico, Ivory Coast and the Philippines.
At the club level, he managed 12 teams, including Manchester City, Leicester, Roma and Lazio, winning 18 trophies.
