One man was held after police found a gun and ammunition hidden under a couch in a house at Pepper Hill, San Juan.

The arrest came this morning during an anti-crime exercise, which saw the execution of a search warrant for firearm and ammunition.

They found and seized a rifle fitted with a magazine containing 27 rounds of 5.56 ammunition.

The male suspect is assisting police with further investigations.
