WASA says parts of central and south Trinidad are currently experiencing an unplanned disruption in their water supply.

It says this is due to emergency repairs to a raw water pipeline at the Freeport Water Treatment Plant.

The supply is expected to be restored by 5PM today.

Areas impacted include- Freeport Todd’s Road, Brasso & Pepper Village, Gran Couva, San Pedro and environs, Chickland and environs, Preysal, Balmain, Calcutta #1 & #2, La Vegan, Tortuga, Mayo, and Siewdass Road.
