Leeward Islands have moved past T&T Red Force to the top of the 2023 Super50 Cup table with a victory last night.
Red Force’s game with Jamaica Scorpions ended in a no-result thanks to rain at the Queen’s Park Oval.
At the Brian Lara Cricket Academy, Leewards beat Barbados Pride by four wickets in a rain-reduced, 42-over-a-side match.
Before the result, Leewards sat in third place behind Barbados and T&T with just two points separating third from first.
All teams now have just one game to play before the top four in the table advance to the semi-finals on November 8th and 9th at the Brian Lara Cricket Academy.
The final will be played on November 11th at the same venue.
