An SRP has appeared in court charged with murder.

On August 5th, 2023, Yannick O’Brian Hercules was shot during an altercation at a bar in Arima, allegedly over the payment of monies.

He died on August 8th, 2023.

Following investigations by homicide officers, 40-year-old PC Javon Skeete was arrested on December 11th, 2023 and charged on December 14th, 2023.

Skeete appeared in court on December 15th 2023 and the matter has been adjourned to April 26th, 2024.
