The Sports Company of T&T has won a $30 million judgment against a company in relation to the Life Sport Programme.
The judgment against eBeam Interact Limited is an important step in SPORTT’s efforts to recover monies paid under the Life Sport Programme, according to the Sport Ministry.
Almost decade ago, it was revealed that SPORTT – an agency of the Ministry – had paid eBeam $34 million for work it never delivered.
In a statement on the recent ruling, the Ministry says it will continue to pursue all appropriate legal avenues to protect the interests of government and the people of T&T.
