South Africa beat Sri Lanka in low scoring encounter

South Africa picked up a 6 wicket win over Sri Lanka today in the lowest scoring match of the tournament so far.

Batting first, Sri Lanka were bowled out for just 77, undone primarily by Anrich Nortje who took four wickets for just seven runs.

Quinton de Kock then struck 20 and Heinrich Klaasen scored an unbeaten 19 as South Africa made it to 80/4 with 22 deliveries to spare.

Today’s other match is carded for 8:30pm in Providence, Guyana, with Afghanistan due to take on Uganda.
