Solar parks a great start

SOLAR PARKS are a great start towards renewable energy.

There is a battery called a flow battery which uses liquid chemicals. Cargo containers are converted into these batteries, and solar panels are placed on top of them.

They are used in subdivisions in the USA. They can possibly be used in substations and residential areas here. We can try them out in different areas to see how they work out.

Meanwhile, consider the thermoelectric generator (TEG): a semiconductor device that converts a temperature difference and heat flow into a useful DC power source.

TEGs use the Seebeck effect to generate voltage. Seebeck generators generate electricity when heated, and are used in India in new residential housing.

They use natural gas to heat them; however, we would not want to use natural gas.

Drilling for geothermal energy is expensive.

A company in the US tried using empty oil and gas wells, and was successful. We have lots of empty wells to explore; perhaps we could have cheaper electricity.

Then there is wave power: the back-and-forth movement of the tides, which is 24 hours a day.

And they are now producing electricity from the air.
