Skeletal remains without head found in Siparia

Police have found what appear to be skeletal remains of a human body without a head.

The discovery was made around 5:30pm yesterday along Penal Quinam Road, Siparia.

A man was riding his bike along the roadway and observed a dog in some nearby bushes chewing on a bone.

The hands were also missing, with the remains clad in purple undergarments.

A post mortem exam will be done at the Forensic Sciences Centre to determine an identity and possible cause of death.
