Sir Elton John is back home after spending the night in hospital following a fall.

According to BBC News, the 76-year-old singer was taken to the Princess Grace hospital in Monaco after falling at his villa in Nice.

He was treated for minor injuries.

A spokesman said, “Elton visited the local hospital as a precautionary measure. Following check-ups, he was immediately discharged this morning and his now back at home and in good health.”

Sir Elton has been spending the summer in France after completing his long-running Farewell Yellow Brick Road tour in July.
