Shimron Hetmyer recalled for WI/India ODIs

Shimron Hetmyer has been recalled to the West Indies ODI team for the three-match series against India starting on Thursday at Bridgetown.

The Guyana batter last played an ODI for West Indies two years ago at the same venue when West Indies lost to Australia in the final match of a three-game series.

Also recalled is fast bowler Oshane Thomas while fast bowler Jayden Seales, leg spinner Yannic Cariah and spinner Gudakesh Motie have all recovered from surgeries and injury.

Nicholas Pooran and Jason Holder are unavailable for selection while Keemo Paul is injured.

The full squad is: Shai Hope (Captain), Rovman Powell (Vice Captain), Alick Athanaze, Yannic Cariah, Keacy Carty, Dominic Drakes, Shimron Hetmyer, Alzarri Joseph, Brandon King, Kyle Mayers, Gudakesh Motie, Jayden Seales, Romario Shepherd, Kevin Sinclair, Oshane Thomas.
