Citizens deserve more than an apology for issues in accessing Christmas food cards, according to UNC Senator Jearlean John.

Ms John said she was among the Opposition members who went into communities to assist people who could not access the money on their cards which she adds, in some cases, still do not work.

She stated that the situation led to embarrassing situations for people already experiencing hardships.
