Senate President Nigel de Freitas has been sworn in as Acting President of T&T.

The Office of the President says Her Excellency Christine Kangaloo left the country yesterday for a short vacation.

She is expected to return on August 24th.

Prime Minister Dr Keith Rowley is also out of the country, after leaving on a private to Barbados today.
