A 49-year-old security officer has appeared in court charged with murder.

Roger Phillip is accused of killing 26-year-old Jamal Thomas.

Thomas was shot at a service station in Tacarigua on April 25th, and died the next day at the Eric Williams Medical Sciences Complex.

Phillip appeared before Master Shah of the High Court on Tuesday.

A Sufficiency Hearing is set for November 25th 2024.
