Jayden Seales’ love affair with Sabina Park cannot be fully explained by the fast bowler, who yesterday picked up the most economical four-wicket haul in Test history.
Seales had figures of 4/5 in 15.5 overs against Bangladesh – an economy rate of 0.31.
Speaking after the game, Seales says the pitch does offer some assistance, but he is not sure what gets him into such a good rhythm at the Jamaica venue.
His efforts saw West Indies bowl out Bangladesh for 164, before ending Day Two on 70/1 – 94 runs behind.
Seales is playing his third Test at Sabina Park and has already climbed to 15 wickets at an average of 12.86 – well below his career average of 21.97.
