The SDMS has planned an Indian Arrival Day celebration involving over 5,000 children, teacher and parents, as well as dozens of temple groups.
According to the organization, Thursday’s celebrations will begin at Ramsamooj Trace Junction in Debe at 1pm and proceed to Parvati Girls Hindu College auditorium.
The procession will include pundits, Ramleela groups, dancers, the Shiva Boys Hindu College Tassa Group and a big truck.
At the auditorium of Parvati Girls Hindu College, there will be a cultural programme and guest speakers.
