The Scrap Iron Dealers Association is calling on entrepreneurs to join the industry.

The call came today from Association President, Allan Ferguson, in a message to mark the one year anniversary of a ban on the export of scrap metal.

The ban has since been lifted and Mr Ferguson believes new entrepreneurs will help develop the industry.

He also offered Association support to those willing to get involved.

Mr Ferguson also questioned the status of investigations into the discovery of copper at the ports in Trinidad.
