San Rafael Police Station re-opened

The San Rafael Police Station has been officially reopened.

At a ceremony held this morning, Acting Police Commissioner Junior Benjamin urged that the station be at the doorsteps of residents, and for it to be accessible and responsive to the needs of the community.

He also believes citizens and police can work together, especially on the heels of the State of Emergency.

The station was closed in 2021.

For the reopening, $1 million in refurbishments were undertaken.
