A recount has confirmed the PNM’s Brian Manning as the winner in the San Fernando East constituency.

The Elections and Boundaries Commission says the official final vote count is as follows:

• PNM – 7017
• UNC – 6344
• PF – 502
• Rejected Ballots – 64

This concludes the three general recounts requested by the UNC following the General Elections on April 28th.

The EBC says all recounts were carried out according to Election Rule 101 and included the verification of poll cards, in line with established electoral procedures.
