Actor Saif Ali Khan is currently at hospital after being stabbed at his home by an intruder.

A report by NDTV says the incident was confirmed by his team as being an attempted burglary at his residence in Mumbai.

The statement reportedly said, “There was an attempted burglary at Mr. Saif Ali Khan’s residence. He is currently in hospital undergoing surgery. We request the media and fans to be patient. It is a police matter.”

The hospital also reportedly issued a statement confirming that the actor had been stabbed.

He is said to have sustained six wounds.

His overall status is not clear at this time, however some reports by Indian media state that he is out of danger.
