Air quality in some areas of Trinidad is being impacted by Saharan Dust.

The Met Service says a significant concentration is currently present in the atmosphere.

According to the EMA’s AQI Dashboard, readings in Port of Spain are currently Orange or “Sensitive Persons”, while readings in Toco and Mayaro are Yellow or “Moderate”.

Sensitive persons are being advised to take the necessary precautions.
