Saharan dust concentrations are expected to increase over the next few days.

According to the Met Service, there is currently a mild to moderate concentration of dust in the atmosphere.

This is expected to rise to mostly moderate by tomorrow, Thursday January 30th 2025.

It adds, “Further analysis is indicating that there are likely to be increased instances of fluctuations to high concentrations by Friday, the 31st.”

Persons who are sensitive to the increase in dust concentrations are advised to take the necessary precaution.
