Representatives from the Route Two Maxi Taxi Association have met with Transport Minister Eli Zakour to address issues affecting transportation stakeholders.

As part of the engagement, Minister Zakour visited the City Gate Transit Hub to observe first-hand the challenges experienced by operators.

Discussions were also held to address key issues affecting both operators and the commuting public.

These included operational challenges for maxi taxi operators, the urgent need for improved management of City Gate’s operations, and infrastructure upgrades at the City Gate and Sangre Grande transit hubs.
