Kymeah George (centre of above photo) has topped Roof Systems Limited’s “Under One Roof” Art Competition.

An award ceremony was held on June 14th to distribute prizes to the top three standard five students who took part in the competition.

Participants were tasked with creating a structure of which the main focal point is the roof and its design according to functionality and strength.

They were evaluated by a judging panel which included T&T Carnival artist Brian Mac Farlane.

George placed first, followed by Aiden Ramdeo (left of above photo) and Aiden Rampersad (right of above photo).

The competition sought to inspire young minds to design structures that highlight the importance of shelter for mankind’s survival.
