Rohit Sharma back among the top 10 Test batters

Rohit Sharma has re-entered the top ten in the ICC Men’s Test Batting Rankings following his century against West Indies.

The India captain made 103 in the lone innings for his team in their innings and 141-run win in the opening Test in Dominica.

His performance saw him climb three spots to number 10, while debutant Yashasvi Jaiswal entered the rankings for the first time at 73rd following his 171 in the same match.

For West Indies, debutant Alick Athanaze enters the rankings at joint 77th, sharing the position with England’s Alex Lees.

The second and final Test between India and West Indies bowls off tomorrow at 10am at the Queen’s Park Oval in Port of Spain.
