Rock legend Jon Bon Jovi has received praise from police in Nashville, Tennessee after he talked a woman off the ledge of a bridge.
He was at the John Seigenthaler Pedestrian Bridge, supposedly for a video shoot, when he spotted the woman standing on the edge over the Cumberland River.
According to the Metro Nashville Police Department, the 62-year-old rockstar helped persuade the woman to come off the ledge to safety.
In a Facebook post it said, “A shout out to Jon Bon Jovi and his team for helping a woman in #Nashville on the Seigenthaler Pedestrian Bridge Tuesday night. Bon Jovi helped persuade her to come off the ledge over the Cumberland River to safety. ❤”
The Police Department added a quote from Chief John Drake which reads, “It takes all of us to help keep each other safe.”
