There will be road works at the lay-bys of the Beetham Landfill this weekend.

According to SWMCOL, paving is planned for both the entrance and exit lay-bys, as well as the main roadway to the landfill bridge and roadway access within the facility.

SWMCOL says the landfill would be closed from noon on Saturday until 5am on Monday.

During this time, waste haulers will be redirected to other landfills at Guanapo and Forres Park.
