47-year-old Pete Phillip remains missing, more than 30 hours after the partial collapse of Rig 110.
Operated by Well Services Limited, the rig was engaged in drilling activities when one leg collapsed shortly after 3am yesterday.
Phillip remains unaccounted for following this incident, with one other worker injured.
In a statement this morning, Heritage Petroleum said it continues to support Well Services in its response.
The company says it provided nine support vessels for the initial rescue of personnel and remain involved in the removal of materials, equipment and personnel, the conduct of surveys, provision of security, oil spill monitoring and emergency response.
It has also provided topside drone surveillance and subsea surveillance by way of divers and remote operated vehicles (both via contractors).
Heritage says it has also set up its Incident Management Tea, along with dedicated business support at its Marine Base in Point Fortin.
It says “This team of over 25 members of staff is led by Heritage’s Midstream Business Unit Leader and includes the Dead of the Drilling Department and the Head of the HSE Department. The Point Fortin team reports into a team located at the Port of Spain office led by the Company’s Chief Operations Officer.”
