Regional Health Authorities have issued notices denying claims that NIS payments were not being made for nurses.

The allegation came from Head of the T&T Registered Nurses Association, Idi Stuart, who reportedly suggested that RHAs were deducting NIS but withholding the payments to the National Insurance Board.

The SWRHA, NCRHA, NWRHA and ERHA have all issued statements refuting the claims.

They all also insist that they are fully compliant with NIB payments and National Insurance Laws.
