A project to introduce pipe borne water infrastructure to Cotton Hill, Tabaquite is expected to be completed in 80 days, according to the area’s MP.
MP Anita Haynes Alleyne says Cotton Hill residents and WASA met yesterday, and she is hoping that the project will be executed in a timely manner.
She adds that Cotton Hill residents depend on rainwater collection, communal tanks and purchased truck-borne water for daily tasks.
This project is in collaboration with the Ministry of Public Utilities under their Community Water Improvement Programme.
