Officials are working to rescue 40 workers trapped inside a collapsed tunnel in Uttarakhand, India.
BBC News reports that the workers were building the tunnel when part of it caved in due to a landslide.
Since the incident, the workers have been contacted and have been receiving food, water and oxygen while efforts continue to get them out of the tunnel.
Officials are expecting to complete the rescue by Tuesday night or Wednesday.
Rescue teams were “preparing to drill and insert a metal pipe of 900mm diameter in the part of the tunnel blocked by debris” to reach the workers.
