One bank has taken responsibility for the bank card situation involving charges from PriceSmart.

Over the weekend, customers reported reimbursements that were less than the amount deducted.

According to the Express, Republic Bank says technical challenges experienced with its credit card system resulted in the original transactions being incorrectly processed in USD.

The Bank also confirmed that those issues have since been corrected.
