The relatives of some 9/11 victims have appealed for accountability, as the U.S. today marked the 23rd anniversary of the attack.
Just hours after their Presidential debate, former President Donald Trump and Vice President Kamala Harris stood together at ground zero with President Joe Biden.
Following the hours long reading of the names of the victims, there was a call for Mr Trump and Ms Harris to press Saudi Arabia about any Saudi official involvement in the attacks.
According to The Associated Press, Allison Walsh-DiMarzio said “We are pleading for your help, but you ignore us. Which one of you will have the courage to be our hero? We deserve better.”
Her mother was Barbara P. Walsh, an administrative assistant, who died in the attack.
Most of the 19 hijackers were Saudi, but the kingdom denies it was behind the plot.
Nearly 3,000 people were killed in the attacks on September 11th 2001.
