A recall has been issued for Quaker Oats Granola Bars and WanaBana Applesauce Pouches due to contamination.
The Health Ministry says the recall issued by Quaker, is due to salmonella contamination in more than two dozen cereal bars and granola bars.
Meanwhile, the US Food and Drug Administration has issued a recall of apple sauce pouches, produced by manufacturer WanaBana as a result of elevated lead levels.
The FDA identified three specific WanaBana products for recall: apple cinnamon fruit puree, Schnucks apple sauce pouches with cinnamon and Weis cinnamon apple sauce.
The Ministry is advising persons who may be in possession of the recalled products to discontinue use immediately.
