Relatives of Anisha Hosein-Singh have reportedly taken to social media to deny reports of a ransom being made for her return.

Information on a ransom came this morning from ACP Wayne Myster, who spoke as a guest on Power 102’s Power Breakfast Show.

He said special negotiations were “going on” with regard to the ransom.

He added that “proof of life” would be part of the negotiations, but declined to say how much money is being demanded.

Following media reports on this statement, posts attributed to Mrs Hosein-Singh’s family have been shared on Facebook, denying any ransom demand.

103.1FM News has reached out to the TTPS for further clarification on the matter and is awaiting a response.

Mrs Hosein-Singh was grabbed by armed men on Saturday in El Dorado, as she was helping to set up her family’s doubles business.
