Resilience has prevailed, according to Oropouche East MP Dr Roodal Moonilal who spoke at the commissioning of the new Ramai Trace SDMS Primary School today.

A commissioning ceremony was held this morning.

MP Moonilal says today marks a triumph of perseverance and dedication, following years of passionate protests.

For a number of years, students have had their classes at the Hanuman Milan Mandir at Penal Rock Road.

Among those joining the MP at the commissioning today were Minister of Education Dr. Nyan Gadsby-Dolly, Minister of Youth Development and National Service Foster Cummings, MTS CEO Mr. Lennox Rattansingh, SDMS Secretary General Vijay Maharaj and PTA President Indar Jairaj.
