Public Utilities Minister responds to report of PM’s info in TSTT data breach

The Public Utilities Minister has responded to a report that the Prime Minister’s information was included in the TSTT data published on the dark web by cyber attackers.

Yesterday, the T&T Guardian indicated that Dr Keith Rowley’s ID card, driver’s permit and passport numbers were compromised, along with his PO Box and date of birth.

Today in the Senate, an urgent question was posed to Minister Marvin Gonzales which asked if any other cabinet Minister, Member of Parliament or Senator was affected in the data breach.

TSTT was mandated yesterday by the Minister to independently probe the cyber attack which occurred on October 9th, 2023.
