Protest in Cunupia over bad roads

Residents in parts of Cunupia protested this morning over the poor state of road conditions in their area.

The demonstration began around 6am, with tyres being burnt at upper Warren Road.

Chaguanas West MP Dinesh Rambally met with residents during the protest and told 103.1FM News that they are frustrated.

Mr Rambally is calling on the government to take action to repair the affected roads.

He adds that residents intend to continue protesting if nothing is done.
