I am writing to express my concern about the current implementation of property tax in TT, particularly in light of the current economic climate we are facing.
Many citizens are struggling with financial hardships because of the mismanagement of the Government and the burden of additional taxes can be overwhelming. Property taxes can be especially burdensome, as they are often expensive and can lead to financial strain for homeowners because a lot of people lose their jobs and business because this PNM administration is out of touch with reality.
Furthermore, in this volatile economy, many homeowners are already struggling to make ends meet and are at risk of losing their properties due to foreclosure. The implementation of property taxes only exacerbates this situation and could lead to a widespread crisis for homeowners across TT.
Therefore, I urge the Government to reconsider the implementation of property taxes in light of the current economic climate and provide more support and relief to those who are struggling to keep their homes.
