Prestige Holdings awards bursaries to 4 students

Prestige Holdings has awarded bursaries to four students at the University of the West Indies for the 2024/2025 academic year.

Prestige Holdings is the franchise operator for Pizza Hut and KFC in Trinidad and Tobago.

This year’s recipients of the Pizza Hut Bursaries are Solange Mitchell-Thompson who is pursuing a Bachelor of Science with a major in Geography, and Micah Greene who is pursuing a Bachelor of Science with a major in Computer Science with Management.

The recipients of the KFC Bursaries are Bethany Blackmann who is working on a Bachelor of Science with a major in Human Nutrition and Dietetics, and Kristi Gopaul who is pursuing a Bachelor of Science with a major in Geography.

The bursary programme is open to T&T nationals entering their first year in the Faculties of Food & Agriculture or Science & Technology.

Selection is based on academic achievement in CAPE, as well as involvement to co-curricular activities.

Each awardee receives financial assistance at the value of $5,000 to support their academic pursuits.
