President Christine Kangaloo has confirmed the writs of the 41 Returning Officers for the upcoming General Elections.

The Elections and Boundaries Commission’s Chief Election Officer Fern Narcis-Scope highlighted the vital role of the returning officers in upholding democratic principles.

She emphasized the necessity of fairness and accountability in strengthening the public’s confidence and ensuring the credibility of free and fair elections.

The Returning Officers were presented with their Writs by the EBC’s Chairman Mark Ramkerrysingh at a ceremony held yesterday at the Cipriani College of Labour.
