A pregnant woman was killed in a shooting incident last night at Mt Zion Road, Arima.

A 16-year-old boy is also said to be “brain dead”, while an 18-year-old and a 13-year-old were wounded in the same incident.

Around 9:30pm yesterday, first responders received reports of gunshots at a single room wooden house in Zone 8.

Upon arrival at the scene, they found 21-year-old Amy Walcott lying on a bed with a gunshot wound to her forehead.

Meanwhile the 16-year-old boy was found lying on the floor with gunshot injuries and taken to hospital.

The other two victims were also treated for gunshot wounds.
